H.M.A’s core mission is to “educate students for life.” Our focus is to provide a child’s environment that zeroes in on freedom, structure and order, reality and nature, beauty and atmosphere, and a harmonious and intellectual environment. We strive to educate the children to learn more about their identity, their self-independence, self-efficacy, their role in the immediate community, the idea of peaceful coexistence and their global obligations as citizens of the world.
Montessori Method
The Montessori Method of education was developed as a curriculum in 1907 by Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian physician and scientist. It is a child-centered education approach that is based on the scientific observation of children from birth to adulthood.
“My son has improved tremendously since we enrolled him at the academy… Ms. Patricia and the rest of the staff there are doing a fantastic job!”
